🔐 Lock Operation Instructions
These instructions explain how to open, lock, and troubleshoot the lock using the key fob or mobile app.

✅ Before You Begin
Make sure the lock has power.
Have your key fob nearby, or confirm you are logged in to the mobile app.
Do not force the lock open or closed.

🔓 How to Open the Lock
Option 1: Using the Key Fob
Locate the power button on the bottom of the lock.
Press the power button once.
Hold the key fob close to the lock.
Wait for the clicking sound.
The click indicates the lock has unlocked.
Open the lock.
Option 2: Using the Mobile App
Open the lock’s mobile app on your phone.
Press Unlock in the app.
Wait for the clicking sound.
Open the lock.

🔒 How to Lock the Lock
Confirm the lock power is on.
Close the lock firmly until it latches.
Ensure the lock is fully closed and secured.
Note: The lock secures automatically when properly closed with power on.

⚠️ If the Lock Will Not Open
If the lock does not open after following the steps above:
Place one hand on the top of the lock and one hand on the bottom.
Press both the top and bottom at the same time, as if you were closing the lock.
Release.
Try opening the lock again using the key fob or app.
This helps relieve pressure and realign the locking mechanism.

❗ Additional Tips
If the lock continues to malfunction:
Hold the key fob close to the lock for best performance.
Wait for the clicking sound before attempting to open.
Do not pull or twist the lock while unlocking.
